- Europa Cinemas reconfirms its commitment to European film in the setting up of the 27 Times Cinema project, in partnership with the European Parliament's Committee on Culture and Education and Giornate degli Autori/Venice Days. - This is also the seventh year that Europa Cinemas will be in Venice to award its Label to the best European film shown at Giornate degli Autori/Venice Days.
Rajko Grlic’s Just Between Us (Europa Cinemas Label at Karlovy Vary) won seven Golden Arenas at the 57th Pula Film Festival. The film received the Grand Golden Arena for best film and Golden Arenas for best director, best supporting actress for Ksenija Marinkovic, best cinematography for Slobodan Trninic, among others.

The 15th Forum of European Cinema Cinergia will take place at the Kino Charlie in Lodz from 4-12 November. The European Debut Section is open to first and second feature films by European directors. The festival will notably present tributes to Bent Hamer, Javo van Dormael, Tinto Brass, Marta Meszaros, Juraj Jakubisko and Jan Hrebejk.
