Europa Cinemas Label

The Europa Cinemas Label is an award created at the Directors' Fortnight in 2003. The Label is awarded five times a year: at Panorama (Berlinale), Directors’ Fortnight (Cannes), Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (Proxima and Crystal Globe Competition), Locarno Film Festival (Consorso internazionale and Concorso Cineasti del presente) and Giornate degli Autori (Venice). The juries of the Label are composed of four dynamic Europa Cinemas exhibitors. Label films receive support for their promotion and cinema exhibitors are encouraged to extend the programming period of these titles on their screens.
