Braguino

My favourite film of 2017 was the documentary BRAGUINO directed by Clément Cogitore. In the middle of nowhere, in the Russian Taïga Forest, over 700 kilometres away from the closest village, two families (The Braguine and The Kiline) refuse to talk to each other… This film is the cruel and ancestral story of a conflict. I also highly recommend Clément Cogitore’s last short-movie called LES INDES GALANTES which is an ingenious, original, expressive adaptation of classic ballet of Jean-Philippe Rameau! The choreography is based of Krump dance, a street dance popularized in the United States, characterized by free, exaggerated, and energetic movement.
