27 Times Cinema 2020
10 days in Venice for 27 young European film buffs!
Europa Cinemas, the LUX Film Prize and the Giornate degli Autori will turn the dream of 27 young filmgoers (one participant per member state of the European Union) into reality!
Since 2010 and co-organized with the LUX Film Prize (European Parliament) and Giornate degli Autori, this great initiative will allow 27 young cinemagoers to attend the Mostra del Cinema as jury members of the Giornate degli Autori official competition.
The 27 jurors will award a prize of 20,000€ to a film selected in the Giornate degli Autori competition. They will also watch the three films competing for the LUX Film Prize for which they will be afterwards the ambassadors during the events organised in their respective countries.
During Venice the 27 Ambassadors will also be invited to take part in workshops and debates with audiovisual industry professionals. They will share their experience and their passion for cinema in a blog and through virtual ‘postcards’ sent from the Festival and shared in the Europa Cinemas’ social networks.
For the 9th year in a row, the 27 lucky ones will be chosen among the young audience of our network members. The cinemas taking part in the call for application this year are:
