Introduction by Claude-Eric Poiroux (General Director, Europa Cinemas) and presentation of 2020 Network Statistics.

Collaborate to Innovate: New directions and fresh thinking (presented by Michael Gubbins, Consultant @ Sampo Media).

Part 2 (4.00 pm - 5.30 pm) - Discussion

Back On Track: from Recovery to Renewal (moderated by Michael Gubbins)

How will exhibitors, distributors and sales agents work with each other to ensure cinemas can speed through the recovery phase?

Reconnect, rebuild and grow audiences: Collaborative approaches to innovate the cinema experience.

How to rebuild the central place of cinemas in the European film economy: Building the social, cultural and environmental place of the cinema.

Directors' Fortnight

From 7 to 17 July 2021

On the occasion of the 53rd edition of the Directors' Fortnight (7-17 July), a jury of 4 exhibitors members of the network will award the Europa Cinemas Label to a European film of the selection: 15 European films are in competition for the Label. The 4 jurors will announce the winning film on Thursday 15 July 2021, at 5:30 pm at the Directors’ Fortnight Beach.

For exhibitors of the network who have requested a priority access badge, your badge will be available at the Europa Cinemas booth (International Village, Pavilion 118) in Cannes:

Tuesday, July 6, from 4pm to 6:30pm

Wednesday, July, 7 from 9am to 5pm

From Thursday, July 8, to Monday, July 12, from 9am to 11:30am and from 2pm to 5pm

If you arrive after Monday July 12, please send an email to Lisa Püscher (lpuescher@europa-cinemas.org) to arrange a meeting at the Europa Cinemas booth to pick up your badge.
