Month of European film

Europa Cinemas is joining forces this year with the European Film Academy to cooperate on a brand new initiative: the MONTH OF EUROPEAN FILM.
For four weeks, the Month of European Film, will celebrate the fantastic diversity of European cinema. Throughout the month, more than 30 Europa Cinemas network theatres across Europe will highlight European films and present special programmes, events and dedicated retrospectives.
The Month of European Film will kick off on November 13th with the European Arthouse Cinema Day and the awarding of EFA's Young Audience Award, run through the European Cinema Night week and end on December 10th with the 35th European Film Awards Ceremony in Reykjavik.
At the same time, MUBI, as a partner of the event, will present a special focus on European films, allowing film lovers around the world to participate.
After a pilot event in Berlin last year, the Month of European Film will continue to grow every year to include more and more places and ways for film-lovers to join in this great celebration of European films.
