Creative Europe MEDIA
_____
Creative Europe is the European Commission's framework programme for support to the culture and audiovisual sectors.
Following on from the previous Culture Programme and MEDIA programme, Creative Europe, with a budget of €1.46 billion for the years 2014-2020 (9% higher than its predecessors), will support Europe's cultural and creative sectors.
Creative Europe builds on the successes of the EU's former Culture, MEDIA and MEDIA Mundus programs. Creative Europe is now divided into two sub-programmes, Culture and MEDIA, and is supported by a cross-sectoral strand.
Europa Cinemas is funded by Creative Europe as part of MEDIA. Europa Cinemas has also been actively involved in the MEDIA Mundus program.

- Help the cultural and creative sectors seize the opportunities of the digital age and globalisation;
