Supported since its creation by the European Commission (Creative Europe / MEDIA Programme) and by the CNC (France), Europa Cinemas is the first network of cinemas focusing on European films. This page details the different ways to participate in Europa Cinemas' activities.

Any exhibition company operating a cinema is invited to find out about the conditions of access to Europa Cinemas' support.
In 2024, Europa Cinemas participates in two European programmes:
Europe Creative / MEDIA, European Union programme
Eurimages, Council of Europe programme
The cinemas of the French Institute are also members of the network within the framework of a partnership between the two structures.

Creative Europe / MEDIA
All cinemas in the following countries are concerned:
Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden

Eurimages - Council of Europe
All cinemas in the following countries are concerned:

Europa Cinemas sets up or participates in various professional events throughout the year. Most of them are recurrent and are open to all exhibition professionals.

Audience Development & Innovation Labs:
Several times a year: in Bologna, in partnership with the Il Cinema Ritrovato festival (every year), in Sofia, in partnership with the Sofia International Film Festival and the Sofia Meetings (every year) and in Seville, in partnership with the European Film Festival (every two years)
Europa Cinemas also participates, on a more ad hoc basis, in various Innovation Labs (Cluj-Napoca & Vilnius, among others).
The Labs are open to all cinema exhibitors in the countries where Europa Cinemas is present.

Europa Cinemas Label:
In partnership with 5 major European festivals, every year
Participation in the juries is open to managers of network cinemas.

European Cinema Night:

27 Times Cinema:
Initiated by the LUX Prize of the European Parliament, in partnership with Europa Cinemas, Giornate degli Autori and Cineuropa, every year
