After working 6 years in the cultural sector, he joined the private sector first as a Project Manager for a mutual company and then as a business controller in charge of optimizing the performance of operating rooms in the hospital sector. Those different experiences allowed him to become Director of Quai 10 in Charleroi since late 2016.

After obtaining her high school diploma from a bilingual German/Polish school, Joanna Bartkowiak began French studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. During her Erasmus exchange programme she finally decided to relocate to Paris, changed her career and started film and theatre studies. Joanna also obtained a professional Master’s Degree specializing in Intellectual Property and Cultural Management (D2A) at Sorbonne. For a couple of years she worked for a classic film distributor Malavida and currently is responsible for the art house cinema «La Comete» based in the Champagne region.

Rogelio Delgado (Multicines Al andalus, Cadiz, Spain)

Ten years ago Michaela Englert took over the Admiral Kino (it’s right around the corner where she lives), which was about to be closed. Since then her life is quite busy between distribution work, her teaching activity at the university and managing the cinema… She is happily married with a very supportive husband, she has a 25-year-old daughter, who also works in film business - and a 17-year-old cat. The Admiral Kino was opened in 1913, so they celebrated a big 100year anniversary in 2013!
