Discover the 28 young cinemagoers selected for Venice!
28 Times Cinema 2018
Europa Cinemas, the Lux Film Prize and Giornate degli Autori are proud to announce the list of the 28 European film-lovers who were selected from over 200 applications - coming from 75 cinemas of the network across Europe - to be part of the 9th edition of 28 Times Cinema.
The project, born in 2010 from the synergy of the Lux Film Prize of the European Parliament, Europa Cinemas and the Giornate degli Autori (The Days), with the collaboration of Cineuropa, creates every year a community of young Europeans who bond over their shared passion for cinema. They will first get to know one another in Venice where they will be the Jury of the GdA Director's Award (€20.000). Later they will become the ambassadors of the Lux Film Prize, promoting the three films of its Official Competition in their local territories.
Over the next few weeks you will get know them through our socials. We asked them what cinema is for them… Check it out on our blog!
