Take a look at the programme of the 23rd Network Conference (with the panelists) in English and French as well as the programme of screenings. The presentation of panelists will follow soon.

The Network Conference has established itself as one of the biggest film industry events in Europe with hundreds of exhibitors alongside distributors, producers and sales agents addressing key developments in cinema.

It is part of a dynamic integrated Europa Cinemas strategy including the Innovation and Audience Development Labs, the Collaborate to Innovate scheme, the Boot Camps and NEXT/Change programme where ideas are developed, adapted and transformed into activities at local, national and international level.

The Network Conference features debates, workshops and case studies with a strong focus on practical and collaborative innovation as well as interactive exchanges of knowledge and ideas. The conference is designed to inspire concrete participation and awards its Annual Prizes for Best Programming, Young Audience activities and the Entrepreneur of the Year.

In 2022, 80 projects from Europe's most innovative cinemas were presented at the 22nd Network Conference in Paris, highlighting the positive trends in the sector. Two fundamental Charters were launched on this occasion, defining principles of Europa Cinemas’ Network members in terms of parity, inclusion, diversity and environmental sustainability. The Conference also provided an opportunity to present the first results of the Collaborate To Innovate flagship scheme supported by the Creative Europe/MEDIA Programme.

“In recent years, the Europa Cinemas network has been renewing its mission, ensuring that it remains adaptable and innovative at a time of significant challenges,” said President Mathias Holtz. “We are grateful for the unwavering support and vision of the Creative Europe/MEDIA Programme and help from our other partners, including the CNC, Eurimages and the Institut Français. Most of all, we have been inspired and driven by the active participation of so many network members across Europe. This year’s Conference will see that spirit of collaboration in action,” he said.

Europa Cinemas is delighted to be in Vilnius this year, which has been represented in the network for almost 30 years. The Conference will showcase the outstanding and dynamic professionals of this European heartland and participants will have a chance to discover this historic city and film theatres.

“The network's progress has come and will come from collaboration and it is in this spirit that we will all meet again in Vilnius in November for the 23rd Network Conference.”  Fatima Djoumer, CEO
