Europa Cinemas is pleased to announce the second edition of the support scheme, EUROPA CINEMAS TRAINING BOOT CAMPS, with the support of Creative Europe/MEDIA. 

The scheme will support training, workshops and other relevant skills development initiatives. Each Boot Camp will be created locally by, and for, network members, ensuring every initiative is relevant and timely. It is a unique opportunity to create an event for your specific needs!

The aim is to:

• Train cinema professionals in skills, practices and processes where there is a specific local or regional need.
• Bring all venues in a region up to a common proficiency standard in identified areas, e.g. business, innovation, audience development, marketing, communication, technology skills...
• Upskill exhibitors through shared knowledge on innovative business models.
• Share skills, practices and processes that enhance environmental sustainability, and promote the objectives set out in the network’s Green Charter (available on the website). 
• Share skills, practices and processes that enhance diversity and inclusion, and promote the objectives set out in the network’s Charter on Gender Balance and Inclusion (available on the website).

Europa Cinemas organises a Zoom session to inform network members about the Boot Camps scheme: Monday March 10, 2025 2:00 PM (CET). The Network members have received an invitation by email for this session (held in English).

Have an idea? Participate in our Zoom session, familiarize yourself with the Guidelines, draft your Boot Camp concept, set your organizing team, find your Boot Camp participants - and apply!
